Yellow Leaf (Poem)
Spring gives way to summeryellow golden grass shimmer the landscape
optimism and happiness.
The yellow color brings back memories
to the last riddle of the journey,
to be discovered in the
lines of yellow leaf.
The thoughts, the questions
the meeting and the search
hidden within.
Is this real or a dream
or a naked experience
in search of the journey?
I am here.
I am here in this journey.
Everyone is here too
contained in this labyrinth
interconnected but invisible.
The lines tell us about our souls
influencing others like gravity
in the fabric of space and time
in this fabric of dream and reality
shadows we all are.
shadows we all are.
Who was she?
Who was the blessed soul?
She is a hevruta(*)
A soul deeply connected
in real and in dream
from deep past to eternity.
A soul not part of destiny
but part of the journey.
What was mysterious
What was unknown
What ached the heart
What troubled the mind
What was incomplete
is now known
is now more complete.
A hevruta indeed
unknown but connected
in dream or in reality.
Like an ocean, I feel the depth
the turbulence and calmness.
The journey is not complete
and it may not be
but I know the path now
a path summoned to our deeds.
The answer is not finding a path
The answer is not finding an answer
The answer is finding a hevruta
who can walk along path to
make the journey complete!
=================
Hevruta (a yiddish word) - is someone who pushes and challenges you; someone who gives you the opportunity to complete yourself.

This is the last poem of the "Mystery of Leaves" series. "The Red Leaf" and the "Yellow Leaf" providing answers in this journey. Hope you enjoyed it! I have put all the three poems in a booklet form here.
Should I continue this journey in a different way? Is there a possibility of meeting the Hevruta again in another poem ... who knows ... feel free to influence!
